Summer fun

I had the privilege of knowing Em and spending time with her at the cottage. It was so fun to see her each summer and see how she had grown, from birth on up. I have many pictures in my head of adventurous Emily swimming, running off the pier and jumping in the water, sailing, walking in the woods, checking out the goodies in the garden, and playing flashlight tag. I remember during one game we held hands as we ran to hide behind our shed. We sat there giggling and wondering if we would be found. (of course we were, for it wasn’t that great of a hiding place!) I love the way Emily smiled and laughed all the time, called her dad Pa, and enjoyed sitting at the top of the hill next to the cottage visiting with her Grandma and us Feldmann neighbors. Emily will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
